What I learned about identity in my year away from teaching
This week I wanted to do something a little different with the show. There’s no guest this week, and I just want to take a little time to talk with you about the topic of identity, and more specifically what I learned about identity and contentment, and what the Bible has to say about it, in the year that I was away from teaching and just this past year of life in general.
If you listened to my episode last week with Josiah Kennealy, he asked me this question, and it was a good one worth expanding on.
Comparison, contentment, and identity are topics I’ve written and talked about quite a bit this year, mainly because that’s the head space I’ve been living in.
So, what did I learn about God and identity in my year away from education? Listen in as I describe the last year of my life and how God has worked to help the posture of my heart shift from comparison to finding my identity in Christ.
